Rose Medical Center’s Emergency Management Program supports the hospital’s mission and vision statements by providing a safe, comfortable, dignified, positive and private environment for patients and visitors, as well as a safe work environment for employees, volunteers and medical staff in the event of a hazardous or emergency condition. The response to an internal or external event is delineated by an “All Hazards” approach. The intent of the program is to minimize any adverse effects on the hospital and its’ operations. NIMS and HICS govern’s the operations and is the link to the community. This will be accomplished through compliance with NFPA, OSHA, and the City and County of Denver codes and standards as well as other regulations that may apply.
