Years as a midwife: 10

I was born and raised in Oregon, where I attended Oregon Health Sciences University for both my nursing and midwifery degrees. My passion for midwifery comes from working with diverse populations. Pregnancy is an amazing time, and each pregnancy and each person is unique. I believe that we all have wisdom to share and insights to gain from each other. 

Centering Pregnancy (a model of group prenatal care) has convinced me that women and families are stronger when part of a caring group. I thoroughly enjoy working with teens and have been blessed to create Bloom, a comprehensive prenatal care program designed to serve adolescents.

I love the outdoors and spend many weekends hiking with my husband and our dog. I enjoy photographing Colorado’s beautiful landscapes.
