Our state-of-the-art birthing facility with 12 labor and delivery rooms features the latest in technology and luxury to make your birthing experience one to cherish. The unit was designed to be comforting while Labor and Delivery Room at Rose Medical Centerpromoting health and healing. Our Labor & Delivery Suites feature:

  • Private bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs to soak away those labor pains
  • A place for your spouse/partner to sleep
  • Birth balls, rocking chairs and squat bars
  • Flat-screen TVs with DVD/VCR/CD combination units
  • Internet access

Once labor begins, mothers stay in the same room for the birth of their baby and through the first hours of the recovery stage. Afterward, mom and her baby are moved to a private mother & baby suite where they continue recovery until their hospital stay ends.

Childbirth Pain Management

Rose Medical Center has around-the-clock anesthesia service to provide quick relief from the discomfort of labor. For mom's choosing a non-medicated birth, each room is also equipped with a squat bar, rocking chair and birthing ball.

For patients desiring an unmedicated delivery, Rose is the place to be. All of our labor and delivery nurses have received specialized training on comfort and support measures for childbirth. We also offer a Doula Program and are the only hospital in the area to support the Hypnobirthing technique. 

Family Centered Care

We make it a priority to care for the entire family. For women giving birth at our hospital, the family is allowed to be in attendance during all of the childbirth process. A beautifully decorated waiting area with a TV, restroom, play area and vending machine is located nearby for additional visitors.

We have four state-of-the-art operating rooms dedicated to expecting mothers. Following the delivery, mom and baby are taken to recovery where a special monitoring unit allows them to stay together during those first important hours of life.

For patients who wish to have a vaginal birth after Cesarean (VBAC) delivery, we support you. We will do everything we can to help you achieve your goal with safety being our top priority.

High-Risk Pregnancies

For mom's experiencing a high-risk pregnancy, Rose has maternal/fetal medicine specialists and perinatologists on staff to provide extra attention during pregnancy and after delivery. Newborns requiring additional extra support after delivery are cared for in our Level IIIB Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Doula Connection & Rose Midwifery

We are supportive of patients who decide to work with birth doulas and midwives for additional support. If you are a patient looking to find a birth doula or a midwife, Rose has a team of experts who are uniquely qualified to assist with your birth.
