A Safe Start for Baby
At Rose, we are passionate about safety. That's why we offer every baby delivered at our hospital and their parents free access to the Safe Start for Baby program for car seat checks with Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians.
It is Colorado law that parents MUST have a car seat installed in their car to transport their baby home from the hospital. Unfortunately, about 90 percent of car seats are installed incorrectly.
In the Hospital
Inspections are available by appointment only. Please contact the Safe Start for Baby program at 303-320-2992 early in your stay to schedule your appointment. Please allow 30 minutes per seat for the appointment. Or you can attend an Infant Care or Baby Safe class for more information on car seat safety and installation.
Hospital checks are not currently available on Sundays or holidays. Rain checks are available, if needed.
