Why Choose Us?

Our Kidney, Bladder & Urinary Care Doctors

Patients with kidney, bladder and urinary conditions will see doctors who are board certified and subspecialty trained. This means that each of our physicians received general training in urology plus board certification, and then additional training in their urologic subspecialty. Laparoscopic urologic surgery, robot assisted urologic surgery and urogynecology are just a few examples of some of the areas where our team has subspecialty training. Rose urologists, nephrologists and urogynecologists are among the very best in Colorado!

Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgery

Our kidney, bladder and urinary program features the state-of-the-art, minimally invasive da Vinci® Robotic Operating System and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgeries using tiny cameras and small incisions. Robotic surgery is the most advanced minimally invasive surgery available where specially trained surgeons use robotic components and special operating tools to enhance their skills, while minimizing the number of incisions, blood loss, and pain. Most importantly, patients undergoing robotic surgery experience faster recovery times. Learn More About Robotic Urologic Procedures Performed at Rose Medical Center>>>

Advanced Bladder and Kidney Treatments

Rose doctors go beyond standard treatments. For benign or non-cancerous prostate disease (also called enlarged prostate or BPH) we offer microwave thermotherapy (TUMT) and laser therapy (TURP). Both procedures reduce symptoms, help preserve sexual function, are minimally invasive, and they can be performed in your physician's office.

In addition, our team is trained in performing the following cutting-edge, minimally invasive procedures:

  • Endourologic procedures for kidney stone disease and urologic cancer using special tools, doctors can remove stones and cancerous tissue without creating any incisions by using natural entry points into this area of the body (i.e. urethra, bladder, ureter).
  • Cryosurgery for kidney masses and prostate cancer as an alternative to surgical removal of tumors, doctors can freeze and kill abnormal cells using small probes.
