Dr. Roger Barkin received his medical degree from Harvard University. He is Board-Certified in Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, and Pediatric Emergency Medicine and is considered by many to be one of the founders of Pediatric Emergency Medicine. He has published and lectured extensively both nationally and internationally and is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Barkin has practiced at Rose Medical Center since 1987. He is active in a number of not-for-profit organizations including Operation Smile.
Dr. Brian Dorotik received his medical degree from The University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and completed his residency training in General Pediatrics at University of Wisconsin – Madison. Dr. Dorotik is Board-Certified in General Pediatrics, and has been practicing medicine since 2003. He is the Medical Director for Pediatric Emergency and Hospitalist Services at Rose.
Dr. Susan Larson received her medical degree from the University of Hawaii, completed her residency training in Pediatrics at Kapiolani Women and Children's Medical Center in Honolulu, and received a master's degree in Administrative Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her special interests in medicine include Quality Improvement and Patient Safety.
Dr. Larson is Board-Certified in Pediatrics and has been a practicing pediatrician since 1988. Dr. Larson is the Chairman of Pediatrics and Newborn Medicine at Rose, and is also currently the Chair of the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children Quality Committee.
Dr. Vongpheth Luangphaxay received her medical degree from the University of Washington in 2003 and completed her residency in General Pediatrics at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles in 2006. Since then she has practiced as a Hospitalist, and more recently in an outpatient community clinic, and part-time at an urgent care center. Her medical interests and specialties include healthcare for the underserved and medical missions abroad.
Dr. Wendy McBride received her medical degree from Midwestern University after finished her master's degree in Sports Medicine. She completed her residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in 2008. Dr. McBride is Board-Certified in Pediatrics, and has a special interest in the adolescent athlete.
Dr. Kehinde Obeto received her medical degree from the University of Lagos ,Nigeria and completed her Pediatric residency training at Cook County Children’s hospital in Chicago, Illinois in 2000. Dr. Obeto is Board-Certified in Pediatrics.
Dr. Melissa Sholtzow received her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University in 2006 and completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk, VA in 2009. Dr. Sholtzow is Board-Certified in General Pediatrics.
Dr. Danielle Wallace received her medical degree from University of Colorado in Denver and completed her residency training in General Pediatrics at the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in 2009.
