Dr. Adam Barkin received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University and completed the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Residency at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He has been practicing medicine for five years and has been at Rose for four. Dr. Barkin is Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine and is also a fellow with the American College of Emergency Physicians.
He chose Emergency Medicine because every day and every patient are different, and as an ED doctor, he cares for everyone who walks through the door. Helping patients in their greatest time of need is very rewarding. Dr. Barkin is a Colorado native, and grew up a few blocks away from Rose. In fact, he had several visits to the Rose ER as a kid!
In his free time, Dr. Barkin enjoys spending time with family, skiing, golfing, biking and being outdoors.

Dr. Carol Dombro has been at Rose for five years, and practicing medicine for 14 years. She attended medical school at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, and completed her residency program at the Emergency Medicine University of Louisville. She is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Dombro chose Emergency Medicine because it is challenging, and because the patients are of all ages and specialties. She enjoys working at Rose because “Rose makes patient care the priority.”
Dr. Dombro is originally from Louisville, Kentucky. In her free time, she enjoys golfing and playing sports with her two sons.

Dr. Michael Horowitz received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate New York and completed his residency at Drexel University College of Medicine. He has been practicing medicine at Rose for 5 years. Dr. Horowitz is board certified in emergency medicine.
Dr. Horowitz chose emergency medicine because he enjoys the day-to-day challenges along with the interaction with patients. He chose to work at Rose because he feels it is one of the few ER’s he’s seen where patients truly come first. He also feels that he has an incredible group of co-workers, both doctors, nurses and techs who care for their patients and work well as a team.
Dr. Horowitz is originally from New York and enjoys music, biking and soccer.
Dr. Donald Lefkowits received his medical degree from Dartmouth and also completed his residency there. He has been practicing medicine for over 30 years, and has been at Rose for 26 years. Dr. Lefkowits is Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine. His interests and specialties include medical directorship and emergency department efficiency.
Dr. Lefkowits chose Emergency Medicine because of the constant variety and a chance to make a difference for patients. He says he chose to spend much of his career at Rose because Rose is a great community hospital with strong patient care approach and physician/nursing staff.
Dr. Lefkowits is originally from Highland Park, New Jersey. Outside of the ED, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and sports.

Dr. Diahn Lohman received her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She has been practicing medicine and been a part of the Rose team for 15 years.
Dr. Lohman is board-certified in internal medicine. She chose emergency medicine because she loves the pace, the variety of patients and problems, and the satisfaction of making patients feel better quickly. She chose Rose because she loved the hospital when she trained as a resident.
Dr. Lohman is originally from southern California. In her free time she enjoys running, reading, skiing, sewing and traveling.
Dr. Matthew McDevitt received his medical degree from Des Moines University of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Akron General Medical Center. He has been practicing medicine and been with Rose for 10 years. Dr. McDevitt is Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine, and holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support. His medical specialties and interests include bioterrorism and disaster training.
Dr. McDevitt chose Emergency Medicine because of the great variety it offers, and chose to work at Rose because the outstanding group of consulting physicians make it a great place to work.
Dr. McDevitt is originally from Charleston, Illinois and enjoys playing the piano, skiing and baseball.

Dr. David Moon received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and completed his residency at the Medical Center of Delaware. He has been practicing medicine and been a part of the Rose team for 14 years.
Dr. Moon is Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine. He chose Emergency Medicine because he likes the challenge of diagnosing and treating a wide variety of illnesses that might be present in the ER at any given time. He chose to work at Rose because of the collegial environment.
Dr. Moon is originally from Ohio and enjoys mountain biking and the outdoors.

Dr. David Morrison received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Christiana Care. He has been an emergency room doctor at Rose since 2007, and practicing medicine for over 10 years.
Dr. Morrison is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. He chose to practice Emergency Medicine at Rose because of the great variety in patients and the great people at Rose.

Dr. Mark Radlauer received his medical degree from Tufts Medical School and completed his residency at Denver Health Affiliated Emergency Medicine program. He has been practicing medicine for 17 years, all at Rose.
Dr. Radlauer is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. His specialties are in Emergency Medicine and clinical informatics. Dr. Radlauer chose Emergency Medicine because he loves taking care of patients and trying to quickly figure out how they need help, and make them feel better. He chose to practice at Rose because he appreciates the high quality of care everyone at Rose strives to deliver consistently.
Dr. Radlauer grew up in New York and Massachusetts, and now resides in Morrison, Colo. Outside of the ER, he enjoys many outdoor recreational activities and is an avid reader.
Dr. Susan Ryan received her medical degree from Western University- College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver. She has been practicing medicine for 19 years and been at Rose for 11 years. Dr. Ryan is Board Certified and also has a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine.
She chose Emergency Medicine because of diverse and challenging patients and chose to work at Rose because "There is no better medical staff in the city."
Dr. Ryan is a Colorado native from Steamboat Springs. She enjoys sailing, tennis, skiing, reading and Labrador dogs.

Dr. Craig Summer received his medical degree from Creighton University and completed his residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He has been practicing medicine in the Rose ER for 15 years. Dr. Summer is board certified in emergency medicine.
He chose emergency medicine because of the wide variety of patients and illnesses, the chance to treat the sickest of patients, and making a positive difference in a short period of time. He chose Rose because of the constant attention to patient care.
Dr. Summer is originally from San Pedro, California. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and going to his children’s sporting events.

Dr. Andy Ziller received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completed residencies at Boston City Hospital and Denver Health. He has been practicing medicine and been a part of the Rose team for over 18 years.
Dr. Ziller is Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine. He chose Emergency Medicine because he likes helping patients in their greatest time of need. He chose to practice at Rose because it is one of the best hospitals in the region, and also where he was born.
Dr. Ziller is a Denver native and enjoys spending time with his family and skiing.
